Since I guess I'm not the only one smitten with the Chloé-boots, I thought I'd do society a favour and look up some cheaper vintage alternatives for you (and myself). Thank god for nothing being new under the sun...
(Pictures will link you to auctions, click away!)
As soon as I get my tripod you'll get less scattered outfit photos. For now, this was friday:
Tube top/dress/skirt - Monki (by far my most frequently used piece ever) Sequined tube skirt - 2nd hand Tights - Topshop Shoes - Salvatore Ferragamo
This is my aunt. She lives in Indonesia and is a model/editor of a lifestyle magazine. I just love it when she puts new pictures up on Facebook! I've found backstage pictures of the Asian Chanel S/S-08 show and other amazing stuff...

Last Friday was sooo much fun! Started off drinking red wine & coke (there's a new one!) or Coco Loco, if you'd rahter... Then we were off too Catwalk and wild dancing all night long which resulted in a bartender completely ripping us off in search for some WATER/stealing half a Coca Cola-bottle as revenge/Rasmus and Pontus drinking about 3 litres of disgusting-chlorine-Barcelona-tap water when they got home and reported feeling... not so good the next day. That's nice. Blame it on the water.
Like everyone else in the whole world right now, I am looking for that perfect sequined jacket. This one happens to be vintage Chanel and ridiculously high prized on eBay. Lovehate eBay. Some lucky (rich) bastard always wins.
Come fall I am also searching for a white (or slightly off-coloured) dress for the first time in my life. Lace from Topshop would more than do it.
The antracite Balenciaga is the only bag on my mind.
THE BIGGEST OBSESSION EVER = CHLOÉ STUDDED ANKLE BOOTS. I SEE MYSELF GROWING OLD WITH YOU. I MUST HAVE YOU. CHLOÉ, OH CHLOÉ WHEREFORE ART THOU $30056404952 OF NON-RECIPROCAL LOVE?
And as for you, Manolo Blahnik girls best friend black beautiful bling satin pumps, I'd never thought I'd actually fall for someone like you. I must admit you aren't really my type. But could I just place you on my shoe shelf and have you for myself, I would never be untrue. I promise.
Last but not least CanonEOS 450D. Mine at last. That's who I'm sleeping next to tonight and I hope the rest of you are REALLY jealous.
Ok. Scaring myself. Will stop now.

This is me keeping myself together at Bikini. And managing quite well I must say.
Jacket - Emporio Armani Tank top - Pull & Bear Tights - H&M Jewelery & bag - Grandma's Boots - Zara
Rewind the time a few hours to meet my best friend Victoria who was visiting from Sweden!
Add a free champagne-night at Ribelino's (not an open bar, apparently... Sorry about those Mojitos we ran away from cause we couldn't pay...)
And the night might take you as far as a few blocks down, into the realm of the American girls.
Where you just might end up drunk posing for a sleezy Spanish webpage.
I think it's pretty safe to say that we're all gonna remember what we did the day/night/morning we found out that the CHANGE had come. I for one was at the American bar Twins in Grazia, Barcelona. It was amazing! Wish I had caught a photo of when they actually had the CNN-correspondent live via hologram in the studio. We're truly living in the future already...

What I wore for sight seeing and zooing on the day that was the last day of Barcelona summer. Well, I am not complaining about summer ending in October anyway...
Glasses - Ray Ban Tank top - H&M Vest - Mango Shorts - Levi's 501 Cardigan - Zara Sandals - Topshop Bag - Miu Miu
It has been the number one issue at work, in school, at the dinner table, over coffee, on the bus and on prime time TV. We know the poll results, we've listened to speeches, seen the interviews and debates, read articles, dreamt nightmares (often including hillbillys from Ohio who could think of nothing in the world they would want less than an n-word president) and made countless jokes about the whole thing. All for what has seemed like a minor eternity. And finally the day is here. There has been several golden moments leading up to this finale, including fatal Palin interviews, countless McCain tongue slips and not to mention numerous of unintendedly hilarious Republican campaign movies. This clip on the other hand, is priceless:
And if there is someone still in doubt of where to put their vote, let's just resort to Hollywood! Where things are usually kept below normal complexity level... Obama had Bruce Springsteen perform with his campaign, McCain had Daddy Yankee. Obama has the support of Robert DeNiro and George Clooney, McCain has Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag...
It probably doesn't get any simpler than that.
(Speaking of which... Even though I am aware of that this eleccion isn't necessary as black and white as us Europeans will have it, I can't shake the reference to an old Swedish comic piece where we make fun of the Germans for thinking it might be a GOOD IDEA to vote for the Nazis... Keeping in mind that their party programme obviously stated loud and clear their promises of world war, dictature and throwing kids in big ovens. It's actually extremely funny!)
"MEN SNÄLLA TANT RÅBIFF DET ÄR JÄVLIGT ENKELT! DU HAR ETT SNÄLLT PARTI OCH ETT DUMT PARTI..."

Friday night meant a crazy Halloween party at Elephant. I dressed up as a leopard in my new "dress" (scarf...) from Zara and was accompanied by flamenco dancer Topaz and an unplanned Black & White duo made up by my friend Rasmus and my baby brother. It was insane.
What I've been doing these past days? Visits from my love, brother and mom has been keeping me busy. As well as school, and watching Gossip Girl. After having rejected the series (after watching the first episode only) I have given it a second chance... And I love it! I was the biggest O.C-fan, but I may even dare to say that I am crossing over to the other side when it comes to Josh Schwartz-productions. And New York. How I love love love it.
Here are some pictures I've posted on my old blog, I styled these outfits á la Gossip Girl for a competition using what was already in my closet. That first one actually got me to New York as the winner. Ahh... New York, New York.
